It's coming along quite nicely IMO. I think I did pretty good for the color changes areas. this is my 1st actual pattern that I have followed (mostly just wing stuff). I'm using carron simply soft eco yarn.
A place where I can share patterns and help others on their way to loving fiber crafts while being left handed.

Hook them off just as you would with regular Tunisian crochet drawing through 2 lops on hook. the only thing, when drawing up your loops it is VERY EASY to drop the last stitch so you gotta make sure you don't loose it.
Raw fiber
In this one it's pretty clear what happened. I got back from the store and set a bag of flour on the counter and never got the chance to take care of it! There was a similar incident involving Crisco but I didn't get a shot of that. But I must say, I'll take flour over Crisco all over the kitchen any day!

I used size 13 needles for the 1st photo this which make it a very open and airy stitch. I am making this into a stole, I think it will be pretty.
If you desire to knit this point up.
cast on 3 stitches.

row 2: k2, yo, k2 tog, yo k1
row 3: k2 yo, k2 tog, yo k2
row 4: k1, yo, (k2tog, yo) repeat, k last 2 stitches
row 5: k1, yo, ( k2 tog, yo) repeat, k last stitch
row 6: k2, yo (k2 tog, yo) repeat, k last stitch
row: 7: k2, yo, (k2 tog, yo) repeat, k last 2 stitches
row 8: k1, yo, (k2 tog, yo) repeat, k last 2 stitches
repeat rows 5 - 8 till desired width and length.
It's a foundation row SC band then the color is 2 stitches SC, 5 stitches HDC, 5 stitches linked DC (this part is basically Tunisian crochet), 5 stitches linked TC, 10 stitches 4 wrap long crochet. then continue reducing same as other side. Attach black yarn 3 stitches from the color and SC across color and into 3 stitches of the black on the other side.
I leave 20 stitches on each end for the ties then 50 stitches in the center for the design when I make the 1st band.
do do the linked stitches instead of YO amount needed for the normal stitch I insert hook in cross bars (where yarn wraps around post) and draw up loop. I do this either 1 time (dc) 2 times(tc) or 3 times for the 4 one. to increas I just yo then insert hook into the bar, this creates another bar on the next stitch. to decreas I insert hook into one bar lower on pervious stitch skiping the top bar.
This was a doodle. pen and ink.
